PARIS, Fbbruary 8.

Tbe Chamber of Deputies has ordered indictments for bribery to be preferred against Charles De Lesseps, Tontage, Blondin, Gabran, Art on, and five others.

The cases against Baron Cotton and Dr Herz are still in suspense ; those against Cotton, Eiffel, Herz, and other direotors of the company, for swindling, are also unsettled.

PARIS, February 9. Tbe Appeal Court, on the charges of swindling and breach of trust, sentenced Comte De Lesseps and his son Charles to five years' imprisonment and a fine of £200; Fontaine and Baron Gotten to two years' imprisonment and £120 fine. On a charge of breach of trust, Eiffel, the builder of the tower known by bis name, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment and fined £800.
