MESSRS. BUDGE & GOOD'S REPORT!
We held a clearing sale for Mr. W. Derrett on tbe Oeo road on 16th ult., when stock sold readily as follows :— 2£-year steers £A %&, 18-months heifers J63 7s 6d, weaners 42s 6d, milkers £5 7s 6d to £S 10s ; horses— draughts 103 to £21, hacks JE6 to iJI7 10s ; sheep— 4-tooth wethers 11s 6d, 2-tooths 9d lid, 2-tooth ewes 12s, mixed ages 9s 10d, full-mouth ewes 7s 2d, lambs (shorn) 6s 5d j furniture and implements sold well. At Mr.'Torke's clearing sale of pure- bred Bomneys buyers were present from Napier and all parts of the coast. Earns sold tip to' Bigs., lamb rams 1£ to 4gs., ewe lambs 19s to 245, 2-tooth ewes 16s to 19s, 4-tooth do 25s to 4g5.., 6-tooth do 355, full-mouth ewes 19s ; 2£-year years steers £4t 19s, dairy stock £6 6s to £9 2s. heifers £3 3s; horses— draughts £11 to £22, hacks from £6 ; furniture and sundries as usual.
