Hobson Handicap, for two-year-olds ; five furlongs and a balf— Annabel, 7.0, 1 ; Heart of Oak, 7.7, 2 ; Royal Rose, 8.12, 3. Eve, 9.2, also ran. Won by a neck, i after a great race. Time, lmin 12eec, Dividend, £10 7s. Takapuna J.C. Handicap, of 150 soys ; one mile and a quarter — Mr. Sutton's Tit, 7.4. 1; Lottie, 8.3, 2; Ingorina, 8.5, 3. Nine started; Won by a neck.
