THE LONDON UNEMPLOYED
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) , LONDON, November 28.
In an article in the Nineteenth Century Mr John Bams, M.P., demands that bold and prompt measures be taken to provide, work for the unemployed, and urges that employment should be found for a great number of them by municipal bodies. He expressed himself as strongly in favour of tbe reduction in the hours of labour, and prediots that " politicians will find the world moves on its belly, when empty bailies have a vote."
