(PER PRESS ASSOCIATIONS WELLINGTON, October 8. 4t the Anglican Synod last night, tbe following recommendations 'of tbe Select Committee were adopted :— (1.) Tbat iaj i Waimate Plaitfß parochial district be con* t BtituteJ, including tbe following centres : 1 Opunake, Otakeho, Maoaia, Okaiawa, and < Kaponga. (2.) That a Waitotara mis- £ eionafy district be constituted, to include o all that portion of Wanganui district north a of Wao.ganoi fiver, including Waitotara 1 and tbe surrounding district. (3.) That a * Wanganui parochial missionary district, 1' be constituted, excluding Waitotara district, bnt still including Matarawa, Wan- a eaehu, Fordell, Mangawhero, No. 1 Line, Denham, Mangmahu, and Upokongaro, o and adding Tnrakina. (4.) That Ongapiki ti mission district be constituted, to include, .# tbe following centres : Pemherton, Bir- c mingham, and Hunterville. (5.)
