(frjai^Mfi Th 6 New South Walesr Horse <sSs*uStim whiffler Tim Whiefleb is a bright bay with black points, good bone, and full of quality ; got by Tim Whiffler (s), winner of the Melbourne Cup, from Parachute, by Kingston. (Vide New Zealand and Australian Stud Book). Tim Whiffler is admitted by all lovers of the turf to have been one of tho most consistent racehorses of his day. He won races at all distances and under all weights, beating such clinkers as Nelson, Welcome Jack, Lady Emma, Adamant, Fusilade, Salvage, Cheviot, Subina, all cup winners, and it is admitted by all who have used him during the past seasons that he is leaving some of the most promising stock ever sired in the district. Tim Whiffler will travel as follows — Oeo, Mondays ; Kaponga, Wednesdays ; Hawera, Thursdays ; remainder of the week at Manaia. Fees — Single mare £3, two mares £5 10s, three or i more .£2 10s each. As a two-year-old be started eleven times, scoring four firsts, carrying top weight in each race, four seconds, and two thirds, being unplaced once (the first occasion on which be sported silk.) Aa a 3-year-uld he started five times, winning the Dunedin Oup in the fastest time on record, the D, J.C. Handicap, and the North Canterbury Oup ; also ran second for New Zealand Cup and Canterbury Derby. Good paddocking provided. All care taken, but no responsibility.
