Serious Deficiency in the County Accounts.
Accounts were presented at tbe County Council meeting on Friday showing a deficiency of <£221. The balance sheet was initialed by the Audit-Inspector, but has not yet been passed and signed by the Auditor-General. It is understood than the fidelity-bond executed by the late clerk covers any deficiency up to £200.
