(PRESS ASSOCIAIIOX.) AUCKLAND, November 21. James Loch died in the Hospital, from injuries received at West Hamilton Railway StatioD yesterday. Frank Knubine a- miner, was killed in karapanga mine, at Coromandel on Saturday night, a track fell down the abaft " 300 ft. deep, when Knubine was working at the bottom, and smashed in his skull. Mr. A. E. Divore was selected Mayor of Auckland with no opposition. Mr. F. A. Jones was eleoted Mayor of Newton. Mr. M. Nicoll was re-elected Mayor of Devon port. Frances Blown pleaded guilty at the Police Court 16-day of endeavoring to obtain money by false pretences.
