Opinions of The Press. We have been favored with a copy of the Stab . Almanack for 1887. It is a surprisingly creditable h production for a small town like Hawera, and the tf compilers and printers may reasonably feel satisfied with their work. The almanack contains a great variety of the most useful information, and consists of no fewer than 261 pages, not including advertisements. — Wellington Press. We acknowledge receipt from Massrs. Innes and Co., of a copy of the Star Almanack for 1887. As usual, the publication contains much useful information, and should be found very valuable by everj B, settler along this coast. It contains very correct p • directories of the towns of New Plymouth, Waitara, ' ' etc, as well as Hawera, Normanby, and other places, Every year this valuable almanack shows marked S, improvement, and we' must congratulate the pub' 1 . The almanack ia printed in first-class style, on excellent paper, . and we can-safely say that the general " get up "is ~ -equal to that of any similar publication in the Colony. — Taranaki News.
