The adjourned ordinary meeting of th* Mannia Town Board was held on'Tbtursday evening, 26th May. Present— jjfteaara. ; Stewart (chairman), Gilmpur.McOatoban, Lewie, and Bayly. " ? ''t r ., ' ' GBAVELUNO. The Chairman reported that be bad varied slightly Mr. Leitcb's 'contract for gravelling, which bad 'becjn *«cept«d af 2s sd, but which was now fixed at 3s from another pit. It was found tbe 'gravel could not be obtained oat of the pit originally tendered from. Action approved. (Mr. MpGo^chan— Mr. Gilmour.) ' ' ROLL TRANSFER. ' Resolved, That the tjnion Bank ot Australia be placed upon the roll for section 1, Block IV., instead of Mr.!. Armstrong. (Mr. Gilmour — Mr. McCutcban.) KERBING. Reaolved, That kerbing be put down jn front of the board's reserve next to Constable Franklin^ residence. * (Mr. Stewart — Mr. Bayly.j RUBBISH RESERVE. Resolved, That Messrs. Ste>ars Gilmoor, and Bayly be appointed a commit* tee to arrange for a rubbish reserve, and to fence it (Mr. Stewart— Mr. Lewi*). RATE OF WAGES.
