RESULT OF ELECTION IN
BOROUGHS.

LONDON, July 9.
The whole elections in the English boroughs are now completed. The list shows 144 Conservatives, 22 Unionists, and 60 G'adstonites returned, of which 49 Conservatives, two Unionists, and 11 Glad'-tonites have also been elected for metropolitan constituencies.
The state of parties, according to the la'est returns, shows 250 Conservatives, 50 Unionists, 131 Gladstonites, and G5 Pnxnclhtes. Supporters ot Mr. Gladstone have been returned for Dumfries and East Fifeshire. Mr. Campbell - Bannerman, Secretary for War, has been re-electpd for Stirling ; John Pender has been defeated for Wick district.
