AUCKLAND, April 4. Mr. F. J. Moss, M.H.R., met his constituents at Parnell last night. He said the people were ou the eve of depression iv this colony. The federation scheme, he considered, would not hold good ; it would never be tolerated that fifteen gentlemen sitting at Hobart should overrule the legislation of several colonial legislatures.
