TENNIS VISITORS' PRAISE
Cr. E. F. Rothwell told the Lower Hutt City Council on Monday night "that Wellington visitors to Mitchell Park on Saturday, when the visiting professional tennis stars played there, had been surprised at the development of the courts and the garden area surrounding them. Ihey considered it a delightful spot and a credit to the city. He congratulated the superintendent of reserves, Mr. A. White, upon what had been done.
Cr. H. V. Horlor said that one of the visiting players expressed the view that the Mitchell Park courts were the best he had played on since leaving America;
