CHURCH OP GOOD SHEPHERD The Epuni Anglican Women’s Club held a very successful bring-and-buy afternoon in the Church Hall on Saturday. November 6, £B7 5s 8d being raised. Winners of competitions were: Nail-driving (women), Mrs. Craig and Mrs. Lang; (men), Mr. Hunn; cake, Mrs. Mclntoslj and Mrs. Beckenham; table centre, Mrs. Martin; dog "Toby,” Mrs. Beckenham; kangaroo “Nelly,” Mrs. Sitppson; brooch, Mrs. Robins; tatted collar, Mrs. A. Simpson; darts (women), Mrs. Burrell; (men), Winston Cults;' nightdress, Mr. Robins. - The bring-and-buy afternoon was followed in the evening by a most successful dance, the attendance and results being very gratifying to those members of the Women’s Club and the Young People’s Club who gave their assistance.
