St. Stephen’s Choir

CANTATA *; ESTHER” On Thursday, November 25, in the church, Woburn . Road, the St. Stephen’s Choir (augmented) will sing William B. Bradbury’s sacked cantata, "Esther, The Beautiful Queen,” which contains bright * and attractive solo and chorus works, and at the same time tells an interesting story in song. Under the direction of Mr. J. B. Melville the choir has been rehearsing for some time, and .an enjoyable performance is assured. Mrs. E. MeCallum as the Queen. Mr. A. W. H. .Gaily as the King, Mr. It. Lind as Hainan, Overseer of the Realm, and Mr. B. Grant as Mordccai, will be the principal soloists, who will have the backing of a strong chorus. Mr. J. B. MeCallum will be the narrator.
