MEETING AT TAITA

At the Taita Co-operative Women’s Guild’s monthly meeting Mrs. Ellis presided over a good attendance. The competitions were won by Mrs. Ellis (eggless cake) and Mrs. Allan (candlestick). The choir sang two bright numbers, “The Quckoo Clock” and’ “Bobolink,” after which a very amusing play by Gertrude Jennings! “Between the Soup and the Savoury,” was presented by the Drama Circle, those taking part being Mesdames Anderson, Miller and Tebbett.
