Happiness Club

TALK ON CITY MISSION There was a good attendance of members and friends at the June meeting of the Lower Hutt Happiness Club. The speaker for the afternoon was the Rev. J. Hay, Assistant City Missioner, Wellington, who gave an interesting talk on (the City Mission and Darby and Joan Club. Mrs. Garvich sang two delightful solos. Mrs. Wilson had the lucky cup. Mrs. Stokes won the competition for the afternoon, Mrs. Kells the wagon cloth, and Miss Doran the glass dish. Flower best bloom was won by Mrs. Doran, with three points, who had the pleasure of collecting the silver cup. The meeting was brought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem.
