The May meeting of (lie MooraWaiv.hetu branch of the League of Mothers was presided over by Mrs. Deans.
Tin* choir leader, Mrs. Rouse, was responsible for a most enjoyable programme provided by tlx* children. The speaker for the afternoon was Nurse Leahy, from the Dental Clinic, whoso inferos! ing address proved that progress is bring made in educating parents and children alike as to the value of work being carried out at the Clinic. The lecture was well illustrated by a series of lantern slides. The thought was given by Mrs. Miller. The afternoon was brought to a close with the singing of ‘ln* National Anthem.
