An exciting race developed between the teams and tlm honour of being the first team into Masterton fell to the Lynndale Club (Auckland;. This club has won the Air Force Trophy for the second year in

succession and its team is to he congratulated on its fine performance. The Hutt Valley Club was again second and the University Club was third. Every member of the Hutt Club's team turned in a fine performance and their effort augers well for the approaching inter-club events. The team in the order of running k was:—W. Smith. L. Brunetti. A. B lloadley, J. Crosbie, R. Blandford, R. K Goss, R. Furness, J. Cook, M. Smith, P" and N. Taylor.

Wanganui Invitation

Next week-end the club will be hosts to the Wanganui Harrier Club. A race will be held from the Petone West School at 2.30 p.lll. and a special dance will be held in the evening at the Petone Y.M.C.A. Hall.
