MAGISTRATE'S COURT
CHARGES AGAINST MOTORISTS Several motorists were charged in the Magistrate's Court at Lower Hut' last week, before Mr. H. G. Thompson, S.M. Por driving at excessive speed Gordon Harold Anderson was fined £4, James Gordon Hazelwood £3, Beryl Winifred Sowman £2. and lan Prederlck Lre i'l, 10/-. Par driving a car without due care and attention Robert Saltoun Praser had to pay £2, and Kenneth John Wood £l/10/-. Walter James Seiby was fined £4 for operating a vehicle that carried above the maximum load. Other fines imposed were:—Robert Benson Ford, riding a motor cycle at night without a light. 10/-; Roy Melville Conner, driving a car thai did not carry a warrant of fitness. 13/-; Ernesl Henry Norton, failing to keep his motor cycle as close as practicable to I In* left of the roadway.
