TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD
LOWER HUTT BRANCH An enjoyable afternoon was spent at the last meeting of the Lower Hutt branch of the Townswomen's Guild. Mrs. Boswell presided. Two elocutionary items were given by Miss Guise and two vocal numbers ("Linden Lea" and a Scottish folk song) by Mrs. Harvey. Both were much appreciated. Alter the serving of afternoon tea .Mrs. Coker gave an amusing and interesting talk on her life in lighthouses around the coast of New Zealand, The singing of the New Zealand National Anthem brought a happy afternoon to a close.
