ALTERATIONS AND NEW CHAIRS
Good progress Is being made with the extension of the stage and other alterations to the Horticultural Hall. A tender of £214/17 fi was accepted by the Lower Hutt City Council for the lining of the ceiling in the hatl.
An order is to be placed by the Council for 400 folded chairs, joined together in sets of four, at a cost of £ll7/10/- netl per hundred, plus cost of bat ien int.-. CI 2/10/- per hundred, and I'to single seals at a cost of «; 1 17. Hi - to be delivered progressively as manufactured.
