REASON FOR SUSPENSION
MAYOR AND COUNCILLOR
When the adoption of the minutes of a previous meeting ot* the Lower Hint City Council was moved at Monday night's meeting of the Council Councillor 11. V. Horlor explained the action that led to his recent suspension tor one meeting. He admitted defiance or authority, but claimed he had acted for the preservation of free discussion and the individual councillor's right to be hearu on matters of importance. The Mayor. Mr. J. W. Andrews, repeated his reasons for moving the suspension ol the councillor. '•Let us be happier in the little time left to us than we have been in the past," said Councillor Horlo;\ to which the Mayor replied. "That is up to you. Councillor Horlrtr."
