POSITION IN HUTT VALLEY „ -The shortage of suitable sites, power, and labour (especially female .{labour) were referred to when the (question of the encouragement of new industries came up for discusagain at the last meeting of ' the Huit Valley Chamber of Commerce and Industry, * Mr. H. V. Horlor said the position regarding industrial sites was in a state of flux at present. Mr. E. A. Tomkies said heavy industries were fairly well catered for, but there was little provision for light industries. It was'an urgent, matter. The question was deferred for further consideration.
