SUPERINTENDENT OF RESERVES TRIBUTE TO MR. HUTT The finance committee recommended to the Lower Hutt City Council, at its last meeting, that ,200 be paid as a gratuitous allowmce to the Superintendent of Reserves, Mr. E. Hutt, on the termina:ion, of his employment by the Coun,il. The committee reported that at i Wnt meeting of the reserves and staff committees two applicants for ne position of Superintendent of Reserves were interviewed and it was the unanimous recommendation of both committees that Mr. A. vVhite, Superintendent of Reserves at Nelson, be appointed, at a salary of £705. per annum. Mr. White is visiting Lower Hutt this week, and will take up his duties in November.
