BOY SCOUTS’ JAMBOREE

CA'K.VIX Ali IN' LOWEII HUTT The arrangements for the Scout Jamboree Carnival to be held in the grounds at the residence of Mrs. Riddiford, Woburn Road, Lower Hutt, on Saturday, December 7th, are proceeding rapidly and no effort is being spared to make the function a success. A strong committee lias been formed and this committee lias been fortunate in securing the services of many other citizens of Lower Hutt to undertake some part of the work involved. It will be realised that to make a success of this carnival it will involve some effort on the part of every citizen who has the, interest of the youth of today. It would be a line gesture if Lower Hutt were able to send a contingent to the World Jamboree in France and therefore in order to make this appeal a success the support of the public is required. Donations of produce, sweets, etc., will be required. Full details of where such articles can be left will be published later.
