WADDINGTON SCHOOL
PROGRESS OF CARNIVAL. Good progress is being made with the Waddington School Queen Carnival and. several thousand votes now stand to the credit of the three Princesses —Pam Lamont, Stds. 4, 5, G; Von da Strange, Stds. 1,2, 3; and Marion Oliver, infants. The committee is very grateful for the generous response from business people in Lower Hutt, Petone, and Wellington. Many activities are under way. including a talent evening on September 2t>th, also a monster bazaar on Saturday afternoon, September 28th. The generosity of the Kilbirnie Sports and Wrestling Club’s concert party has resulted in many votes for the Princesses. ’ \
