ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

CHURCH PARADE IN HUTT The annual church parade of the Hull Valley Corps of the St. John Ambulance was held in St. Augustine's Church, Petpne. A significant thing about this parade was that it was by no means local. In all parts of the Empire members of the Association attended Divine service, because it. was the nearest Sunday to St. John Baptist Day. - The service was conducted by the Rev. Austin diaries and the Scripture lesson was read by Corps -...- cer Roy. The Petone Salvation Army Band played the parade from Gear Street to the Church. Among those present were tiie district Commissioner,. .Mr. W. W. Dutton and t'oui' of his district, oflicers. The parade was under the command of Corps Superintendent R. J. Shugg and all Corps officers were present.
