LATE MISS EDITH TENNENT Referring to the death of the late Miss Edith Tennent, of Lower Hutt, and formerly matron of the Dunedin Hospital, the Otago Daily Times (Dunedin) says: "Possessed of a strong personality and imbued with the true ideals of her profession she set an inspiring example to all nurses. Her influence, kindly help and unswerving attention to her work will remain as an enduring memory, and nurses who trained under her guidance consider themselves indeed fortunate. "Her wide vision and high ideals made her contrihution to nursing education and to the nursing profession generally a very valuable one."
