WEDDING
WRIGHT —HUM" A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. James's Church, Lower Hutt. on May 4, when Daniel Carlton, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Wright, of Lower Hutt, was married to Molly Elizabeth Grace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt, of Lower Hutt. The Rev. W. E. Hurst was the officiating minister, and Miss Harte was organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely gown of cream embossed georgette, with draped cross-over bodice finishing at the hips with a pleated frill from which hung a very full skirt. She carried a shower bouquet of spider chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. Her waist-length veil hung from a head spray of orange blossom. The bridesmaid was Miss Valma Hunt (sister of the bride), who wore a pale blue georgette frock and carried a shower bouquet of lemon chrysanthemums, with similar {lowers in her hair. She wore a locket, a present from the bridegroom. Mr. Kenneth Wright (brother of the bridegroom), was best man. Miss Enid Wood sang "Just for Today" during the signing of (he register. On leaving the church the bride was given a horseshoe by her youngest sister. The bride's mother wore .a three-piece blue ensemble with navy accessories and a spray in delicate shades of pink, while the bridegroom's mother was attired in a wine georgette gown, hand embroidered in deep cream, with wine accessories and a spray in petunia shades. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Ludlam Crescent, where a large number of friends and relatives gathered. The guests were received by Mrs. Hunt, assisted by the bridegroom's mother. The bride travelled north in a teel-blue frock and coat, with brown accessories. . ,
