Chatting with a Hutt News representative after the performance of "Viktoria and Her Hussar," at the Grand Opera House, Wellington, on Saturday night, Miss Gladys Moncrieff said that she was very happy to be back in New Zealand, and expressed gratification at the success of the tour. Everywhere the theatres had been packed and the audiences had been very enthusiastic. The audience on Saturday night had been wonderfully responsive, and the company had enjoyed playing to it. In the Magistrate's Court at Lower Hutt, before Mr. Goulding, S.M., Alan Bruce Sutton, aged 18 years, was ordered two years' detention in a Borstal Institute on four charges of car-conversion. Admitted to Probation. In the Supreme Court at Wellington, Roger Derek O'Riley, aged 21 years, a soldier, who had pleaded guility in the Magistrate's Court at Lower Hutt to a charge of theft of a motor truck engine from Government premises in Seaview Road, was admitted to probation for 12 months and was ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution. Mr. E. F. Rothwell appeared for the accused.

Missing Children Safe. Some alarm was felt at Waddington last week, when two children, Raymond Hailwood (8) and . Errol Hailwood (4), sons of Mr. C. Hailwood, failed to return home from a shopping errand. Search - parties were out on Friday night and Saturday morning. The children were located at the home of a relative in Newtown, Wellington on Saturday.
