WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
EPUNI BRANCH The president, Mrs. Scott, was returned unopposed at the annual meeting of the Epuni branch of the Women's Institute. The new committee comprises Mesdames Twigg, Parker, Callard, Hart, Vartha, McKinley and Lloyd. Sprays were presented to three retiring committee members: Mesdames Strange, France, Mclntyre. Mrs. Bessie Anderson entertained with a humorous monologue. Winners of competitions were:— ■ Best flower, Mrs. McKinley; butterless biscuits, Mrs. Woodrow; song, Mrs. Hart. The next meeting will be held in the Birch Street hall on the third Wednesday in April, owing to the Easter holidays falling on the usual meeting day.
