Y.W.C.A. ACTIVITIES
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The girls' programme committee of the Y.W.C.A. met recently and discussed plans, and elected officers as follows: President, Miss . Marion Egglestone; vice-president, Miss Sue Verry; secretary, Miss Jocelyn Temperton; treasurer, Miss Noreen O'Neill. A three weeks' tramping programme was arranged. The weekend before Easter it is hoped that a week-end tramp to the Orongorongo hills will take place.
At the first club night the girls divided into interest groups of drama, dressmaking and keep fit classes. The future programme is: Mondays, keep fit and drama; Wednesdays, keep fit and dressmaking.
