RELIEF OF DISTRESS
MEETING IN LOWER HUTT A public meeting wil 1 be held in the Red Cross Hall, Lower Hutt on Thursday, April 4, with a view to forming a local committee to further the work of CORSO in Hutt Valley and district. Mr. J. W. Andrews, Mayor, will be in the chair. Mr. J. G. Male, Dominion Appeals Organiser for CORSO, will show two documentary sound films illustrating the work UNRRA is doing for the stricken people of Europe. Mr. Male will also explain CORSO’S constitution and objects, plans for the future, etc.
