MEETING OF WOMEN
ST. STEPHEN’S ASSOCIATION St. Stephen’s Women’s Association held its monthly meeting recently, and Mrs. Dalviell took the chair in her usual capable manner. Aftbr the business of the meeting concluded the convenors for the afternoon, Mrs. McCallum and Mrs. Heggie, proceeded with a programme of music and poetry. Miss Lois Davys delighted the audience with two well chosen pieces, while Mrs. Johnston’s beautiful singing of four songs and Mrs. Rothwell’s excellent playing of violin solos were greatly appreciated. Mrs. McCallum gave two humorous readings and the tea group, Mesdames Lopdell, Macarthur, Drysdale and Lee, served a delicious tea. The singing of the Association Hymn brought a happy afternoon to a close.
