(By Sergeant Major) The thing as an R.S.A. are * most interested in is the welfare of those people who offered their services and in the course of their duties were wounded and maimed from the effects of war. There are also those who are suffering frdfta effects of war services through sickness and .other causes. Many of them, through no fault of their own', > are apt to fall on bad times, and it is our duty to assist them in their misfortune. This cannot he done without money and with that object in view Poppy Day was instituted: All citizens and returned personnel alike will have an opportunity on Friday, April 12th, to show their gratitude to those people who are more unfortunate than themselves:The need for your assistance Is greater than ever. Let us all 'make Poppy Day, 194(1, the greatest sue- A cess yet.. Buy poppies on Poppy Day and buy your poppy in the Hutt Valley. Every shilling spent Valley goes to the benefit of y£ii'r Hutt Valley R.S.A. >
