AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS
VISIT TO LOWER HUTT Members oi' the Australian cricket team were entertained at luncheon by the Lower Hutt Rotary Club on Wednesday. Mr. J. Jacques, president of the club, presided. A very happy time was spent in social intercourse and community singing, after which the manager of the team, Mr. Yeoman, returned thanks. Later the visitors were taken for ~ a morot run around the district, visis ing the hospital, State housing areas, and the reservoir. They were keenly interested in all that they saw. •*V A call was made at the High School where one of the visitors gave a talk on cricket to the pupils, and afternoon tea was enjoyed.
