—2—Q LOWER HUTT'S ANNUAL QUOTA. National Savings investments for the period April Ist to February 28 amounted to £34,563/13/11, leaving a total of £4,436/6/1 to be subscribed before March 31. in order to attain the city's quota of £39,000. Every citizen is urged to invest during the present month in order to reach this objective and by so doing maintain Lower Hutt's good name in "Helping to Win the Peace" All investments bear interest at 3 per cent and deposits made now become repayable in June 1948.
