WEDDING
SlvOW — McKAY The wedding took place recently at the Methodist Church, Lower Hutt, of Winifred (Rita) Lorrane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. McKay, 'Lower Hutt, to Lieut. Duane William, U.S.M.C. (on furlough) only son of Mr and Mrs William Skow, Council Bluffs, lowa, U.S.A. Escorted by her father, the bride entered thfe church wearing a beautiful long-trained gown of white satin with a pleated frill edged heart-shaped neckline, and long tight fitting sleeves. Her long tulle veil fell softly from a coronet of white velvet flowers, and she carried a shower bouquet of white June roses and heather. The bridesmaid, Miss Kay Woods, wox*e a full skirted, dusky pink gown which was made as a duplicate of the bride's. Her bouquet consisted of pastel shaded carnations. Mr. James McKay, brother of the bride, acted as best man. The bride's mother and Mrs. H. Lang, received the guests at the reception at Eva Draper's Studio, Mrs Lang representing the groom's mother.
