HIGH STREET BURGLARY
During the early hours of Sunday morning last thieves broke into the premises of Messrs Brailsrords Ltd., in High Street. Entrance was effect ed by smashing a heavy padlock on the front door. The shop's cash register was apparently the first objective and although the cash drawer could have been easily opened, the thieves elected to • smash this opeft by breaking the marble slab immediately over it. Apparently disappointed with the few odd small coins that comprised the contents of the till, the intruder or intruders turned their attention to the stock and removed a number of garments totalling approximately £46 in value.
