SHOP DAY
Last Friday's Shop Day on behalf of the Merchant Navy, was conducted under the auspices of the combined organisations for the administration of comforts and resulted in the net proceeds of £135. In addition to this a copper trail organised by Helen Riddell collected £14. A number of boys from Nelson College and local college girls with many of the usual helpers rendered very valu able service. Members of the Waimarie Croquet Club made their rooms available for the workers and provided them with refreshments.
