When two letters from the Hutt Valley Milk Producers' and Distributors Company, asking for assistance in securing bottle washing and filling machinery, were before the Lower Hutt City" Council on Monday last, Cr. H. V. Horlor moved that such assistance be given and the motion was carried unanimously.
i Mr J. Cashmore, who has been <%gaged on essential war industry, has recommenced business as a watchmaker in Lower Hutt. For many years before doing war work Mr. Cashmore enjoyed k very high reputation as a watchmaker and his work was alWas of a high standard.
