DANCE FOR PLUNKET FUNDS
Recently a most enjoyable dance was held by the Happy Hundred Club when the organisers very generously donated the proceeds to the funds ol ! the Plunket Society. Miss Eva Draper very kindly made her studio available, and the attractive surroundings helped greatly towards the success of the evening. The supper was served and arranged by members of the Plunket Committees and Mothers Clubs, and many very welcome contributions were received, including the milk, which was given by Mr. August. The work of the Lower Hutt branch of the Plunket Society has been greatly increased by the rapid growth of the outlying districts during the past year and funds are urgently needed to carry on with the much needed activities of the Society. The generosity ol\ all concerned in the organisation and general arrangements of this dance is therefore greatly appreciated by th<prcsident and committee who were delighted to receive the sum of £f>o towards the funds. A card party held by Mrs. T. Teagle was instrumental in raising a considerable sum towards the expenses of the evening.
