ANOTHER DIRECTION
Mil HOG AN TO WOOLLEN MILLS. A new manpower direction had been issued to him within 24 hours of the dismissal of the prosecution against him for failing to obey a former direction, said Mr. John Hogan at a public meeting at the Kin° George Theare last Sunday. He said the new direction was worded with extraordinary care even to the extent of altering the usual printed wording. ( It directed him to "report for engagement in work with the Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Co., Ltd., at the company's woollen mills at Hutt Road. Petone, at 8 a.m on Monday, June 2(5, 1944. as factory worker. Note: This direction replaces the direction issued to you on March 24, 1944, which is hereby withdrawn." Mr. Hogan said he would appeal against this direction.
