ST.STEPHEN'S WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION.
The League of Mothers' Choir, presenting a variedprogramme of international music, was a special attraction for the June meeting of the St. Stephen's Women's Association. After the. opening prayer for Peace, the president, Miss Ethel Steele, cordially welcomed members of the choir. Business for the day was briefly dealt, with", and a delicious afternoon served by the committee, Mosdames Barron jjv and Orr (conveners) ftluir, O'Shaughnessy, Rogers, Shearer and Spencer. Part songs sung by the -choir were: "There'll always be ,an England" (English), "Kentucky Babe" (American), "Ye Banks and Braes" (Scottish), "Derry Vale" (lie Londonderry air (Irish), ''All,..through the Night" (Welsh). Requests for repetition of some of these popular items were willingly responded to, as alsp-were requests for "God send you back to me" and "Wert Thou in the Cauld Blast." The programme was delightfully rendered and gave very great pleasure to all presents* Mrs. H. S. Bar ron was the conductress. * with Miss L. Pinlay at the pisso|i v : , .j' On behalf of the committee, the president expressed grateful thanks to the choir members for a most enjoyable entertainment. The meeting closed with the singing of. the National Anthem.
