<«> SttKVICE TO SHIIVICKS On Saturday last a party of men from the various services were the guests of the Association at a dance held in (he Y.M.C.A., Ilirch Street, Waterloo, and a most" 'enjoyable evening's dancing was provided for a large circle of members and friends. The joint hosts -ami hostesses on this occasion were Mr. and Mrs. \V. Munro and Mr and Mrs. u'. Staples In future these popular fiances will be held weekly and patrons are assured" ol' a very happy and friendly atmosphere at these functions. AFT Kit- SCHOOL SIOUItS As a means of assisting the problem of after school recreation of children whose parents are workin;-; on essential war work, or where (he fathers are serving their country overseas, tins Y.M.C.A. during the week have provided two picture afternoons to which such children have been invited free of charge.
