ST. STEPHEN'S WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION
<ir A practical demonstration of cake decorating was a feature of a recent meeting of St. Stephen's Women's Association, convened l>y Mesdame.s K. (Jtiiley and James Lopdeil. Under the expert hand of Mr. Culley cakes were very rapidly made to look most attractive. Suggestions were given as to the mixing of the icing, consistency, and the best method of working. Mr. Culley was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his most interesting demonstration. A l'rayer of Intercession was read by Mrs. Culley, followed by the Lord's' l'rayer in unison. Final arrangements were made concerning the sale of Christmas novelties, cakes, etc., to be held in the ISible Class Hall on !2nd December. A delicious afternoon tea wa.i served and much appreciated, the hostesses being Mesdames Hoy, Rolls, Shearer, A. Wilson, G. Wilson, G. Younj; and Miss Feist.
