WOMEN'S WAR SERVICE AUXILIARY
NOTES Military Drill. — Arrangements have been made for drill under Ser-geant-Major Ryan, of the Defence Department, to be held in hall at the back of the Recreation (J round grandstand on Monday, 25th August, at '1 p.m. All registrants are asked to attend. CanCcoit and Land (Groups.—A first-aid class' is held on Wednesday nights at the old Hun Central School, and is very well altended. Land Section. —Gardening tools are needed,'and if anyone with tools they would lie willing to donate will please communicate wilh Mrs. I'ickard, telephone H3-715. donations will be gladly accepted. ! Signallers and - Cyclists. - Much enthusiasm in the signalling classes continues and cyclists, as well as doiijg signalling, will be taking classes in cycle repairs shortly. Transport. — More members 1 of -this section- have passed the test for hfiavy traffic license, aijd more will be faking the test next Saturday. All members are invited to attend a lecture by" Dr. McLean on "Emergency Sanitat-lofa." This wil be held on Wednesday, 25th August, at i> p.m. in the Hall, Hutt Valley High School. It is hoped that as many mem hers as possible will take the opportunity of attending this important lecture.
