The next meeting of the Information Unit of the E.P.S. will be held at the usual place on Tuesday next, 26 th instant. Under the auspices "of the Emergency Precautions Scheme a lecture entitled "Emergency Sanitation in the Home" will be delivered in the Hutt Valley High School Assembly Hall to-night (Wednes'day),' by Dr. P. S. Maclean, Medical Officer of Health. All members of the*E.P.S. are urged to be present. Others interested will be welcome. At the monthly meeting of the Board of Governors of the Hutt Valley High School last week the formation of an Air Force Training Corps Unit was authorised. Boys of 15-18 years of age, with tlieir parents' consent, will be eligible for enrolment. A suitable badge will be supplied. A devotional play entitled "Greater Love . Hath No Man" is to be presented by St. James's Senior Girls' Bible Class in St. James's Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday, !)th and 10th September. Sacred music will be supplied by St. James's Church Choir, and the proceeds are to be devoted to church work.
