BOROUGH ACCOUNTS
At Monday's Council meeting the town clerk reported that the council's balance sheets had been returned from the Audit Department without a single voucher being questioned. The auditor had stat- I ed that during his experience he J had never audited cleaner accounts. Mr. Andrews said he would like to congratulate Mr Wagner on his efficiency. It was very gratifying to find a young officer who had come, to the council as a boy, receiving such glowing accounts from the auditor.
